Question Getting kids in the lounge

Hi All, flying from Dublin to Toronto this weekend with Aer Lingus, I'm Aerclub Silver so have access to the lounge, I've also been given a complimentary Lounge Pass so that will cover my wife. When it comes to kids I'm unsure what the situation is, my son is 5 and my daughter is 2, will the expectation be that they'll need to have passes as well, or will be able to bring the whole gang in considering their ages?

I've actually never seen a child in the EI lounge. I suspect you would need a pass. The desk checks you in so if you don't have the correct status or a booking for the lounge then you don't get in. I suspect that applies to all passengers.

I have brought my kids in with no issue at all every time we fly (1-2 times per year).

could be because we usually fly at the weekend when the lounge is quieter? Officially they should not get in. But I would certainly give it a try.

It depends on the person on the day at the desk and also the capacity situation at the time you ask. Worth a try they usually try to be fair if it will not have an impact.
