,is it just 12 months from your next renewal date or is it 2 years

going on the stories here might it be nearly 2 years anyway before you get a card or even have benefits after passing the threshold or will benefits stream straight away?

thanks
asking here instead of s new thread
Once you reach the tier credits you need you immediately move up to the next tier and have it for the remaining time until your tier points reset AND the next year.

For example, if you sign up in January 2018 and reach Silver in February, you keep Silver until your tier credits reset January 2019 and keep your silver status until January 2020.

Yup if you have earned the required points since March 2018 status will be valid the remainder of this year (March 2019) and for 12 months beyond that

No March 2020.

Not sure if there is any sort of 'soft' landing in place similar to BA where if you hit Platinum and don't earn enough TPs the following qualifying year for any tier then instead of dropping you back down to Green (i.e. no status) you will be Silver (first tier for free essentially) for the year following you lost Platinum status. I doubt Aer Lingus have this in place, be interesting to know if anyone knows for sure???

Would suit me if they did due to less flying this year but have not heard of them doing this. Should scrape Silver just about!

Yes if you're platinum and don't meet your status requirements you land to Silver, not green.

Really? I don't mean any disrespect but is that written down anywhere? Would suit me fine this year.

Looks like the card designs have been updated slightly (colouring, sizing, logo and background), reflecting the rebrand more than anything else.
