Can I get Aer Lingus to take control of booking made via Experida?

Should have known better than to book with Experdia....
Short question: Can I get Aer Lingus to take control of an Expedia reservation (even willing to pay a fee)

Expedia (even Gold) customer service is really poor and they don't know how to implement fare rules.
I want to make a change to a reservation that the airline would do at no charge, but Expedia wants to charge 200Euros. (A US-DUB-Europe flight in business where the europe flight has rules that talk about a change fee of 50 euro per coupon. Since it's a 4-segment trip - USA-DUB-EUR / EUR-DUB-USA, Expedia wants to charge 200 euros for a single change. Fare rules for the USA-DUB segments allow for free change (it's booking code D, connecting to EI booking code O).
