US-DUB-US Connection

Dear all,

For a host of reasons, I am planing to fly ORD-DUB-BDL. Arrival would be at 1045am with a 150pm departure.

Arrive on UA, depart on EI.

No bags.

Is this doable?

Assuming UA flight is even roughly on time this should be no problem - you could be through and ready to board within 30-45mins tops.

When I arrived in DUB T2 on Friday morning (off EI146 from SFO), the immigration hall was absolutely rammed. The queue backed up to before where they split the passenger flows into EU and non-EU passports.

Flight connections is a separate process - so in case you encounter the same - follow the signs and be aware that you night need to politely muscle through.

3 hour connection time? Barring a very late inbound arrival you'll waltz though it.

I'm curious and have to ask (sorry for being so forward) but what's with the ORD-DUB-BDL itinerary? Surely there's an easier way to get to BDL?

I was also really curious about this, my best guess if maybe s/he is escorting someone (e.g. a child) or maybe it's some sort of mad mileage run but looking at the original posters program info I doubt it. Not that the original poster should feel any pressure to answer as we're just being nosey feckers really

Nothing rational about the trip. I had the miles to spare but not the time, and there are couple of new routes (for me) that I am wanting to try.

Truth is - the trip is all about taking Jetblue’s Inaugural flight from Worcester to JFK. I live in LAX. I needed to position myself to get to Boston, but I couldn’t find flight with upgrades. So I decided to connect via DUB!
