alcohol in economy?
 

I can't find a relevant thread on this, so I started a new one.

I'm thinking about flying Chicago -> Dublin in economy. Is it true that Aer Lingus does not have complimentary alcohol on board? I'm quite surprised since Aer Lingus is usually the more expensive option.

It does specify "bar service" but doesn't specify if it's paying.

Its both, non alcoholic drinks are always free, the meal(s) served is free if you want more then you have to pay

There was still free beer and wine on Aer Lingus TATL flights in 2000, the first time I flew with them. I don't remember exactly when it stopped being free but it hasn't been free for over 10 years.

I would be surprised if they bring it back free again. They make a fortune from selling beers,wines,spirits onboard TATL.
