Avios account locked
Today I received an email...
"Dear <my first name>,
In line with industry best practice, we constantly review transactions on our AerClub database to ensure compliance with the programme’s Terms and Conditions and to protect our members.
This process highlighted a potential anomaly with your account, so for your protection we have locked your account while we investigate. Please contact our AerClub partner, Avios on +353 1 562 1043 so we can verify your details.
Once your details are verified and the account unlocked it will be necessary for you to reset your password on aerlingus.com.
Thank you for your patience as we complete this process.

And sure enough, my Avios account is locked. I'll call them tomorrow, but the only reason I can think that this might have happened is if they are unhappy about Awardwallet logging into my account so often.
Anyone else had this?

Any number of reasons, not the least of which is that others may have attempted to hack your account, this was detected, and thus your account was locked until your identity can be verified and the account reset.
Or, they think you have done something untoward.
There are thousands of permutations if not more. Unless you require access instantly, don't give this another thought until the office opens.

It's not a scam. I used their UK number and claim all AerClub accounts have been locked. I doubt this with the number of comments on this thread. They reset the account and said that they were not carrying out an enforced password change.
They did tell me I didn't earn the 250 Avios I should have earnt when the account was transferred but can't award the points. They did provide a telephone number to contact.
