I was thinking that myself but don't see how much they influence each other, for SV most people I imagine won't use their points for avios so minimal loss of influence there plus for BOI the RR is on all credit cards except the AerClub one. So there will be no rewards program for normal BOI cards from now on. Interesting to see if another rewards program will replace it or another bank move into partnership with SV.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Avios @ 1 per €10 is rolled out across all the cards.

i doubt BoI will do this, as it would dilute the (already minimal) attraction of the (expensive) AerClub card
i think the message from BoI is that if you want benefits - you need to pay for them !
