Got to say the box the Platinum card comes in is nice, a very clear wow moment when you open it. Not going to spoil it.
Card feels a lot more robust that the current GC ones where the the gold lettering fades very quickly
The card have both barcode and magstripe

GC Benefits
So, as a recently snubbed GC member of many years (down to green I have gone although travelled quite extensively between the dates I have been told were used for status allocation - still not clear on what criteria were used to decide tier?) - how long before my GC benefits will be refused at DUB.
Do they operate a grace period, does anyone know?

Just checked in for my first flight since the change form GC to AC.
Entered my AC member and the boarding card shows status as Plat but with my GC membership number.
Under GC I was Gold and when I log into my AerClub account I am Green.
Obviously still lots of IT issues!
I am looking forward to see what Avios will post for a saver UK-IRL flight with a GBP3.99 fare.
