SNN-JFK discontinued in 2017?

Hi folks. I'm looking to purchase a direct flight from SNN to JFK (IE 111) next May. Many IE flights on my travel date are currently bookable (e.g. DUB-JFK, SNN-BOS), but my desired SNN-JFK is not. It only appears bookable through ~ the first week in January.

Anyone have an idea of what might be going on? Called IE and they didn't seem to know much; just said the schedule wasn't available yet. Is it common for airlines to show availability for different routes on different dates? Anyone heard of IE 111 being discontinued?

It's not uncommon for routes to be loaded into the system at different times. I'd be very surprised if this route would not be continued. Patience ;)

Normally flights are loaded up to 330 days ahead so you are trying to book right against this window

Give it a month and check back

OP: EI doesn't load all dates for all routes at the same time. There may be some reduction in service on SNN-JFK over the winter, but it is very unlikely to have been cancelled.
