Good news! Comes as no surprise.
I wonder what the fares will be like?
Hopefully we will soon hear that EI flights earn TPs and full Avios! I am hoping for such an announcement as soon as August...

The "Aer Space" product may be good news for earning TPs providing earning rates are in line with 40 TPs on BA's Club Europe product and not the 20 TPs on BA's Business UK.

Hopefully this is a means of harmonising with CE for the DUB-LHR route - so they can run a combined EI/BA service from T5 a la BA/IB. Would be great for transfers

And Qatar became an earning partner before they entered oneworld. (And yes, I know that EI is already a partner...but not a TP earning partner).
I hope for a surprise early announcement....

I would imagine a cautious and phased roll out. First LHR and maybe AMS followed closely by CDG, FRA and BRU.
If they all work, you could see it expanded elsewhere. I would be surprised to see it roll out across the entire network (minus the obvious leisure destinations) at once.

Aer Lingus to get Premium Economy
I haven't heard or seen this anywhere on FT or related sites.

I wonder this is a completely new Premium Economy product, or related to enhanced short-haul offering with the business and the middle-seat game.
Aer Lingus Chief Financial Officer Bernard Bot said he was confident Aer Lingus could defend its position, aided by a new premium economy product.
