Well, clearly they don't - but opodo will sell you first class for DUB-SFO r/t in mid November for less than 800... Clearly a glitch, but would willingly accept my involuntary downgrade to business (and would even waive the EU261 compensation)

ITA Matrix will show the available dates too

Can you post a screenshot?

I got, for €2,396, a routing on EI to ORD (indeed, stated to be First(F)), changing there to UA domestic First to SFO, on the matrix.

By the way...you wouldn't be due any compensation - there is an error here, on the part of the OTA, so outside the scope of the regulation. Despite what the OTA may say, you know that you don't have a valid First class ticket - also a prerequisite for pursuing an EU261/2004 claim.

EDIT: found it, Matrix, 10&22 November, Matrix, 'Business Class or higher", €940, "First (F)"

I should have added a smiley! Would be interesting to see what would happen in such a situation - no desire to try myself though! Will post screenshot shortly

No, F is Economy.

EDIT: weird. Expertflyer is showing Aer Lingus "F" as First Class, too...

AFAIK, F is the class for the "Plus Fare" economy.
