I am traveling J on EI from JFK. My 13 yr old daughter and 13 yr old neice are also traveling with us but in E. Also I am EI Prestige. Will I be allowed to bring the kids in the lounge with us?

One or the other I'm afraid. You only have entitlement to one guest.

You may also need to pay UM fees for the kids as they won't be with you.

Finally, the traditional abbreviation for economy is Y rather than E

We are all on the same PNR. So my wife would get in as she is in J. And I guess I could bring in one guest as I am Prestige and then pay for the last child is that correct?

Correct.
You are only talking about Dublin though, as EI are soon to move at JFK and it will be some time before they get a lounge

For what it's worth i was able to access the Menzies lounge near passport control (but before it unfortunately) in Stockholm using GC.

It isn't listed on EI's web site, possibly because Stockholm might be a seasonal destination?

Not landside. Airside but pre-passport control. i.e. in the Schengen area.

But there's a second Menzies lounge at the opposite end and they wouldn't let me in and sent me to the other one so it's worth mentioning that it's the one near passport control.

Aha, great minds. I will miss the views from the Oasis lounge, but otherwise this looks like a big improvement.

Quick note on the GC lounge in Dublin: For some reason, they've eliminated virtually every one of the power outlets on the floor -- they're all still visible, but there's a screw over the opening for each one. I asked whether there was any power available and they pointed to the six laptop stations on the wall just after the entrance.

Could be nothing to do with it but I was in there and the power went out. Maybe it tripped something. Could be linked but not sure.

I think they've done the same in the DAA lounge in T1. There was very few outlets on the floor that I could see and and area set aside for charging/usage.

DUB <> CWL

I am a GC Elite. I am looking at a trip Dublin-Cardiff, return. I can buy the ticket on the EI website, with both flights (a) having an EI number but (b) operated by Aer Arann.

The lounge access rules on the Gold Circle pages say 'travelling on an Aer Lingus flight', with several exceptions noted, none of which mention Aer Arann.

Am I out of luck, then? At both DUB and CWL?

cheers,

Henry

You're actually talking about EI Regional flights (wet leased) - you'll be fine.
