Black Friday sale

Up to 60% discount, and 6X award miles. Example AMS-ATH at 60 euro in Flex (Upgradable), normally earns ~1000 miles, and with this offer 6000 miles. At 1 cent a mile that means...the ticket is basically free.

Not too bad. Unfortunately only economy though.

I think you can get DUB-ATH for about 100 r/t upgradable. With the promo would earn 16000 miles. Of course if there isn't a rebooking. As the terms say that any rebooking after 30th November forgoes the bonus.

Well, as long as involuntary rebookings/flight schedule disruptions allow for a refund, this seems to be a prettt generous way to run up some redeemable miles while working toward acquisition/retention of A3 status.

Agreed basically if you fly the long route and value the points at 1 cent a pop then this is basically free flying.
Also the upgrades to flex and comfort flex are very reasonably priced because of how the promo works

A connection should work. There is nothing against it.

Therefore, meaning that your departure or arrival airport must be in Greece. I think NextWhiteDeath is wrong.

Also,

Anyone else noticed this in their email?
What do they mean by upgrade?
I assume they mean that if you register today you'll get 6000 welcome miles?

There is a lower tier of account type. That basically just saves your booking details and nothing else. Upgrade in this context is just getting a full account.

The question is: what do they mean with connection flights. You can only connect domestically with Aegean, so do the domestic flights also count x6 ?

You can have connections with A3 they usually don't works as you have to double back. For this promo to work. You have to fly from somewhere to Greece as the final destination. Doesn't matter which airport. Or you have to start in Greece.
If you book LHR-ATH-SKG you'll get 6x on every leg. If you book LHR-ATH-IST then you will only get base miles.

That's what I hope with LHR-ATH-SKG , the domestic connection gives you another 500-1000 miles and you could even get double connections.
