LIS-FCO via ATH on a RT - how to do??

This must have been asked and answered before, but I cannot find anything with terms : "mulit" or "many".

Here is the plan that I need info on:

Assuming COVID settles and I can fly LIS-ATH-FCO and return over the Easter two week ends (say out of LIS on March 28th, and then out of FCO on the following April 4th), how do I put all 4 sectors on 1 PNR with the A3 booking site or app? The most flights I can put on 1 PNR/ticket seems to be 2. When I use MATRIX, I can find all 4 sectors with suitable A3 flights, but I cannot book through MATRIX.

I would rather not use Kayak, Expedia, etc, because with the uncertainties of government "interventions", I believe it is better to just use A3. I also have a travel voucher that I need to use as well. In addition, I need 4 sectors with A3 to maintain *C status.

Thanks for info.

Maybe I’m not understanding but assuming ATH is only a transfer, why not just do LIS - FCO rtn?

it will automatically include ATH as the transfer point.

Agreed that ATH is a transfer point, but LIS-FCO is not allowed - not even as a 1-way booking! When I put in LIS as the origin, there is no Rome/FCO in the destination '"pull down". Hence the question.

FWIW, I just sent this question to A3 for further info.

Thank you irishguy28 for this. FWIW, I have also just sent this question by email to A3. Your advice makes sense as it is "source info"... Plus, they can answer any other questions I may have.

Yup, tried that too. Won't work on the app nor desktop. I await the call from A3.
FWIW, current covid stuff makes this entire process "academic". Sheesh.....

Then use OTA, Expedia... Afaik A3 doesn't allow you to book connection flights if theayover is longer than 4 hours or something like that. They might have other "restrictions" too.
