Big schedule changes

Just got some notification emails, big cuts taking place.

Ams-ath down to 4x weekly
Ath-lhr down to 10x weekly

Lots more. This sucks..

I had 10/11 ath-ber-ams. But ath-ber got cut, ath-ams, ath-dus, all gone...

Could I ask to be rebooked to fra and then ber on lh?

The OP most likely meant ATH-LHR

Aegean has also changed the schedule of my domestic flights during Christmas. I have already submitted my requests for vouchers.

Well that blows. No more mid-day departure from Amsterdam, and more importantly, no more afternoon arrival in ATH from Amsterdam. The late flight from Amsterdam to Athens is useless for me as it requires an overnight stay in Athens...

So... I'll be asking for refunds for my outstanding tickets. Most likely rebook with LH group, as they seem to be the only ones offering decent business fares..

The schedule seems to be back to normal from S21 (So from end of March).

It will be interesting to see if they are going to refund my booking that was booked using a voucher!

I think the logical assumption would be that the promotion was not as successful as they would have expected, so now they need to cut flights (or/and they estimate new, stronger travel restrictions as of November, judging by the recent trends in pandemic numbers). If the promotion was successful, why would they need to cut fully booked flights?

I just talked to them - they wont.

Asked for a refund on a business class fare, fully refundable, and was told 5+ months. Accepted it, thinking that if it's not there within a couple of months I can still involve Amex to get it sorted.

Another booking was paid partially with card, partially with voucher. The voucher part was only refundable back to a voucher.

Did they expect something different?
They took our money and refuse refunds and now they want more interest free money from us.
And maybe we will get our money back sometime 2022 unless they go bankrupt by then.
