S20 timetable available
The timetable for S20 is available via A3 website. Note that not all fare buckets are loaded yet, so only full-Y, full-C might be available.
Notable things:
* The A320neos are arriving so we are expecting at least 5, to be deployed in routes such as FRA, MUC, BRU, BCN, TLV etc.
* FRA becomes 2/daily from ATH as MUC.
* Some increases of weekly frequencies to specific destinations (AMS seems to lose the extra 3/weekly frequencies)
* No new destinations yet confirmed and it seems that SUF, BSL, LIL are discontinued.

Great news! Finally a 2nd flight to/from Frankfurt!
Last time they loaded the schedule, they changed the operating hours of the flights later. Right now the early morning flight CHQ-ATH seems to have been changed from 6h25 to 8h00. But last year they did the same and changed it back. So let's see.

LHR is operated by the A321 on almost all occasions. There is the occasional A320 but generally the A321s are full so I doubt it's a neo target until there are A321 neos.

I'd have thought the Neos would go on the longest routes as they're more efficient, rather than the (mostly) more premium. They do that with the wingletted A320 - places like MAN, EDI, DUB are nearly always operated with those. Maybe this is a sign that the Neos will have a better business class product? Sorry I'm only dreaming, but who knows...

A3606 which is an extra Saturday service in summer only between ATH-LHR-ATH is operated by an A320 with Sharklets about half the time - SX-DGY today and its last two rotations were CPH and DUB. A couple of years back when there was a LHR-LCA service operating that was almost always an A320 with Sharklets so yes, to a point longer routes get those planes but not always.

At least the few flight numbers I checked out only offer some "H" economy fares that are not only very closely priced between go light and flex, but also very close to the business class fares. Needless to say, nothing available as an award ticket yet.
But I will keep monitoring those routes

Because that is the exact same thing that they did last year. The scheduled them, they were bookable, and then they canceled all of the extra flights at some point.
My expectation is that this is related to the slot issues at AMS. Basically AMS is at capacity and getting new slots is very difficult. Airlines can apply for more slots, but at some point most of them will be rejected. This is one of the reasons for more and more airlines switching to widebody aircraft when flying to AMS...even if only within Europe. Obviously that's not an option for A3 though..

There is also reduced frequency on some other routes.
For example, Wednesday flight to Venice is missing, I still hope it will be loaded later... But on the other hand VCE is operated by NEOs next summer...
