Talk about SK:
When I search flights via google flights, it sometimes shows me that flights are operated (crew and plane) by "sas ireland".

Does it matter in terms of mileage? Do I still get SK credits?

It does not make any difference, except one crew member will be a redhead.

Hi guys, not sure if it's better to start another topic about similar request but will try my luck here. Could you someone suggest similar mileage route (need also 9000) but the best would be to do that in EU. Start from Austria, Germany, Hungary. But problem is I need to do that sometime from 21.8 till 30.8. I think best choice is SAS and their PLUS class. thank you very much in advance. Price: as little as possible, but I know it's Summer therefore I can't expect good prices.

If you want to stay in Europe, then the leisure-heavy routes usually have better Plus prices - AGP always seems cheap and ATH usually isn't too bad. As you say, August is NOT the best time for those routes though. On more business oriented routes, Plus can be triple the regular fare.

Also check out the Canary Islands - that's a lot of distance to cover. (Yes I know they are not in the EU). I haven't got time to search connections to Scandinavia, but OSL-LPA is available 24th to 31st August for 175 Euro return in Go or 351 Euro return in Plus. that's about 5100/10200 miles, plus what you could get for a connecting SAS flight.

Thanks guys for your time! in the end got booked PRG - ARN - AGP in Y class for 209€. That is totally fine for me.

EDIT: first two segments successfully upgraded to SAS Plus pro (every for 530 SEK) I just put a bit more that total minimum, just to be sure. I hope that another two segments will be upgraded too. Price of whole flights should be not more than 400€ which is fair enough for 10190 miles.

Now you just need to keep your fingers crossed that SK earned miles are not downgraded until then

Before the seasonal rush to re-qualify for Gold before November 23rd...
With just over 3 months to go, a friendly reminder to all last minute qualifiers to start taking stock of your tier miles to date!

Not sure what this is about?
Am I right to think that people with this requalification date had the old "lifetime" Aegean status?

I did see ARN - ATH for 44 EUR on Saturdays in Oct which nets 1500 miles. Better yet SAS Plus is 85 EUR and would be 3000 miles. which is a steal for 3h 40m flight. Problem is the returning flight is quite expensive lol

You could consider moving to Athens for the winter; definitely warmer than Stockholm and move back when it gets cheaper again next year.
