Silver-Gold Qualification
Hi there
I am around 1000 miles from qualifying for Aegean Silver and about to book a trip which would return me 32,000 miles (4 legs).
I will pass the threshold for silver with only 1,000 miles out of the 10,000 miles which my first leg will credit. The question is whether the extra 9,000 miles will be counted towards the gold qualification?
I assume that the 2nd, 3rd, 4th legs would obviously count towards the gold qualification as I would have attained the status by the time those flights depart (regardless of the fact that they are on 1 ticket?)
Thanks

Yes, that's how it used to work when I reached Silver (3 or 4 years ago) and others have said it still does, but I'm not 100% certain. A slight point to note is that there is usually two or three days delay between the qualifying flight and the status actually being awarded. I don't mean just a delay in posting but an actual delay to when the status starts. This has been a problem in the past for people reaching Gold and having points "disappear" in that short time (points do NOT roll-over for Gold re-qualification purposes), but it should be OK for Silver, providing all those points do indeed still rolll-over.
