I was checking the ARN-ATH-ARN routes in S19. Three flights per week as usually, but much worse days and times. The Tuesday morning/noon flight was moved to Wednesday early afternoon, a truly bad one for the business traveller. Not only it cuts your week in half, but almost an entire weekday gets wasted. Sunday morning is also equally useless and brutal. I really can't get what they had in mind when designing this. It seems that it will be back to the good old SK redeye for me, with their amazing onboard service, and the delicious cube
The only good news is that they kept their Friday afternoon flight (albeit at a later time), at least I will still be able to catch that on my way back...

Thinking about it, if airlines (here, A3) were to accommodate the wishes of all potential customers wishing to fly to/from any of their destinations, they would soon go out of business.

Fare buckets have not been loaded yet in full scale (see EF). It's just the schedule that has surfaced and is now visible through the GDS.
Hence no surpise that both TUN or CMN remain non-bookable at the moment.

It'll be interesting to see what the proper fares are when released (only H class to RAK at around 230 Each way is available for now). I assume they'll do the usual of releasing as low as U class and then add P later as a 'sale' fare. RAK and CMN might be good for mileage runs as, if I am correct, they will become A3's two longest flights at 1861 and 1793 miles (from GCM). I think Dublin is currently the longest at 1790 miles. Fares should be a lot lower as there is also Ryanair to compete with to RAK. Their fares around A3's launch dates are currently around 90 Euro.

Yet these people may manage anyhow... Moreover this flight always seems to service also many Swedish pensioners, and a large number of transfer passengers to the Middle East, so in the end this new schedule may work out well both for A3 and most of their pax. Only time will tell
