Just received email from A3 that they will begin direct flights between Scandinavia, flying an A320. When clicking through for a testbooking, it doesn't seem like there's any business class cabin.

Would love to use upgrade coupons for this flight, but guess that would not be possible?

Sorry for not being clear in my qeustion. I was curious to know how normal it is for A3 not to have J-cabin on such long flights. I guess a number of A320's have been configured this way?

Indeed, some of the *ultra*-touristy-holiday routes are only Y (most (if not all) from HER, RHO, KLX, CFU) and some from ATH as well

They have many routes that are economy only DUB-ATH , MAN-ATH come to mind and they are one of the longest A3 flights.

The aircraft aren't configured differently. The front four rows (or maybe five or six on some aircraft) of the A320 have quite a lot more legroom and C and Y class is divided by a movable curtain, depending on demand. On the A321, all the rows up to the first exit rows have the extra room.

yep, and the seat on first rows (usually belongs to J) are more expensive to reserve than others. row 1 and 2 = 15e, afaik
