Tier miles purchase options changes [all tiers, buy more, cost more]
Just received an e-mail stating the following - good news (particularly since it doesn't come with a price hike)

Below you may see how many miles can be purchased per tier:
Blue members up to 1,000 tier miles
Silver members up to 2,000 tier miles
Gold members up to 3,000 tier miles
Tier miles can be purchased in sets of 500 at the price of 50€ per set. To purchase tier miles simply login to your Miles+Bonus account, go to My Miles+Bonus page and then select "I want to... Purchase miles". The miles will be automatically credited to your account upon the completion of the purchase.

Hmm...there are two ways of looking at this I suppose. Good if you find it difficult to fit in enough flights, but bad for the wallet!
The truth is it's still nice to have the opportunity to top up tier miles, unlike some FFPs where you can't do it (BAEC for example).
You've got to give it to the P.R. team though, good presentation!

I wish that Aegean would introduce a tier mile rollover....
The current system provides scant incentive to keep flying once Gold has been maintained for a further year.

Still it is nice to be able to get them. My travel has been restricted this year as I apply for a green card (no intl), so the ability to purchase tier miles is useful and at most it's an extra 100 euros so not going to destroy me.

And you need to prove your income... I haven't heard that that's changed.

Gutted with the price increase just a few days before I was planning on buying a few miles.
P.S. Is there an admin that can remove the "(positively)" from the thread title? :-)
