Because we don't have enough small airlines yet.. Surprising that they decide to try it once more.

They are looking for 12 crew; so that sounds like they are planning to operate with a single, small, aircraft. Is this going to be the next SkyGreece?

Sounds pretty scary, lol...The name is just weird and unattractive, they could have at least picked a good name.

Hey, it's a totally "in" thing to do at the moment! Just look at Air France's ridiculous name of "Joon" for example

That said, how many months shall we give the new airline? Two, or perhaps three?

The more interesting development is Wizz Air launching operations from ATH and from scratch operating 6-7-8 destinations. A3 can expect some fierce competition to such countries as Romania, Hungary and Poland!

(not that I complain about that, with FR already operating flights ATH-OTP, the addition of W6 will only keep prices low, and the demand is sufficient enough for three carriers to operate the route )

Well, Wikipedia lists 38 Greek defunct airlines, although some are not listed (e.g. Minoan). Is this a world record (or, at least, a European one)?
