Aegean Airlines catering thread share your inflight food pictures here
I thought it would be good to see what A3 offer in terms of catering on various routes both International and Domestic. Hopefully it will be a good resource for people. It would be great if people can add to it over time.
I will start by posting my recent flight LHR-ATH in J Class : Pre take off drink. There was a choice of Champagne/Water/Juice. http://i955.photobucket.com/albums/a...pslkntrwek.jpg http://i955.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps06keseau.jpg http://i955.photobucket.com/albums/a...psscoejs22.jpg http://i955.photobucket.com/albums/a...pseqrhiyqc.jpg http://i955.photobucket.com/albums/a...pscwxvd0n8.jpg |

ATH-IST Y Class December 2014
55 minutes flight with drinks and traditional Greek hot snacks,yoghurt-honey. The mini feta pie was lovely. ^ http://i955.photobucket.com/albums/a...psvn4st4fp.jpg http://i955.photobucket.com/albums/a...pskypxjvuo.jpg |
That's the "breakfast" version, really not bad. The "lunch" boxes contain either an edible (but not great sandwich) or penne in a red tomato sauce. Since I live half of my life in Italy and the other half in Crete, after the first time I tried this I decided that I'd never do it again. ;) Have yet to try a bona fide "dinner" version.

Lunch on ATH-FCO flight in Y class. Greek style meatballs in tomato sauce with rice, a fig bar, and some great Seméli agiorgitiko. Of course, also full coffee/tea service after the meal. So even in Y it's really not bad at all compared to what other airlines will give you on a 2-hour intra-European flight ;) |
PRG-ATH in Economy
Creamy sauce on penne pasta
Nice chocolate biscuits (x2 in the pack) Bread roll http://i.imgur.com/MxiNniLl.jpg The aircraft from Prague had the new slimline seats and the entire interior was very fresh. I really like the branded carpet with the bird logo on :-) |
ATH-ZRH in Economy
The standard offer in Economy was a meat dish, something looking like lasagne, so I asked for a vegetarian option. The cabin crew discussed for a few minutes, then asked me to wait for 10 minutes, then returned with this very tasty pasta and vegetable medley. The crew were extremely nice and they followed the dinner service with coffee and tea service.
The box at top left of the tray had sesame bars which are very tasty. Also there is a package of savoury crackers and a standard piece of cheese. http://i.imgur.com/UHxvT8ll.jpg |

Food and service in biz class is great, i confirm... but the real minus are the dessert... really so so. Hot towel is great too (so rare for intra european flight).
