Odd question maybe but +1 finds herself in the following situation:

• current tier: blue
• current tier mile balance ~22,000
• current A3 sectors: 0

She is now taking 2 A3 flights which will accrue ~2,000 tier miles. The 2nd flight will therefore lift her above the Silver tier requirement, both in terms of total tier miles required (24k) as well as the lower requirement (2 A3 flights & 12k).

Anyone knows which tier advancement A3 will apply, the 24k or 12k+2xA3? Question is relevant in regards to the consumption of tier miles, in the first case these would be close to zero, in the second case ~12k would remain and count for the Gold qualification.

No, they won't. The mileage counter will reset, once you hit silver. (doesn't matter how). The new counter would be either zero or the miles between 24.000 and whatever the +1 would get in addition to that mark with the second flight. I'd say it would be the second one, because the +1 would hit 24.000 before finishing the second flight.
