I tried to redeem a SIN-DEN return ticket yesterday with my miles but the process is a bit.... strange. You actually submit a request and they come back to you via email? How does it work exactly? It could take days or weeks to land a reward ticket on a *A carrier (in this case, I optimistically picked SQ).
Isn't there an easier way to book a reward ticket using A3 miles?

I just called Aegean this morning and they seemed not understand what the "stopover" means. they told me that I can have one stopover on each way when redeeming a RT tickets, but each stopover should be no more than 24hrs!!? does anyone have similar experience with redeeming from M&B?

In Indian English (English from India), stopover, layover, and connection are all synonomous. I'd assume that same is true in Greece?
My guess is that if you want a stopover, you have to piece together the itinerary as a combination of one-ways...

For one-way flights, the above-mentioned mileage values apply in half.
An award ticket on Star Alliance flights may include one stopover with duration up to 24 hours
So basically they allow you to route connecting flights, but not real stopovers.
Which is better then their conditions for their own flights:
Miles & Bonus program is sector oriented. The passenger redeems for every flight number the miles corresponding to such flight. Flights with an intermediate stop having one flight number e.g. Rhodes – Rome via Athens, shall be considered as one flight.

so, if I am flying to a destination that has to be at least two connectings during the trip, but according to the A3 website that I can only have one "stopover" or connecting, does that mean I cannot book this route on one ticket or have to split it into two tickets and spend more miles?
