Accor acquisitions and Le Club memberships
Over the last few years Accor has acquired a number of hotel chains and incorporated these into the Le Club loyalty programme. My question is, do they also absorb the hotel’s loyalty programme ( points and stays) into Le Club and at what rate?
I ask becuase I have a number of stays at Movenpick and Mantra in Q1 this year which is the first time I’ve ever stayed at either chain and was wondering if I should join their loyalty programmes I the hope to have these rolled into Le Club and get the night stays, $’s spent, (and to a lesser extend) points added.
What has happened in the past eg: Banyan Tree? I’m mostly keen on number of nights stayed as this gets me to Platinum v $ spent although this year if they do a 1:1 transfer of $’s spent I’ll probably get there too.

There things are case by case - Mantra doesn't really have a loyalty program that earns points, has status etc. It's just a discount scheme.
