I also did not know Accor had 3 hotels with a lounge. Thanks for the info @Dav77

For people who want a hotel with a lounge outside Patong and outside Accor, there is Hilton and Hyatt Regency which I both visited in the past.

Also with those 3 hotel they do not show any access to lounges in the description when I looked. Best to email them to confirm if you really want a lounge.

Just found out that the new Director of Operations at the Pullman Phuket Arcadia Naithon Beach (Thailand) is the former EAM Rooms at Sofitel Damansara, KL (Malaysia). KL regulars will know. Extremely competent and helpful.

And this change is due to the move of Benoit Metanomski who was Director of Operations at Pullman Arcadia Naithon beach (and who was before at Sofitel Angkor for many years). He has just been appointed GM of Mövenpick Khao Yai.

Gold Upgrade?

I've booked 3 rooms at Arcadia for family at end of year (Us, Mum/Stepdad and our children). Went for grand ocean as they wouldn't confirm any upgrades.

Wondered what people's experience was of treatment as Gold member?

thanks

I’m platinum so can only give my experience, however I was almost treated like royalty at the Arcadia. The staff were amazing and every status benefit was given. Also confirmed room upgrades prior to check in but maybe that’s only because I hassled them so much 😀😀
