do two rooms count for two nights?

As a leisure traveler I need 4 more nights or 700 points to reach gold.
Next weekend I need two rooms for two nights how will that affect my status?
Will this add 2 or 4 nights?
Or should I make two separate bookings?

I wish it counted! However in my experience it doesn't, not even if you do separate bookings for the same dates, I would have requalified for plat the first half of 2018 if it did. Sorry to be the bearer of disappointing news.

OK then, seems 2 rooms for 2 nights at a Pullman will get me 600 points, throw in a dinner for 4 and I'll get 700+
Very much doubt however I will stay for 30 nights in Accor properties next year....

I believe there's a promo on at the moment that by using the app, you will get double points.

Gilbertaue,

Thank you, mailed the hotel directly to request booking yesterday but did not receive answer, I will check the app, double points status or accelerator is the question then...

Double reward points, not status.

No problem, I found a Mastercard promotion at mastercard-accor.com upping both rooms one notch and saving 50€ altogether, I will spend enough to add the 700 required points.

Just noticed 31st dec and jan first are holidays in Thailand, schools closed thus decided to spend New Year's eve and first day at Pullman Khon Kaen.
Booked Junior suite, since back to gold just in time might get upgrade to suite...
Oh, booked for 2 adults + 1 child....
