I have the same issue from time to time but I will wait for a few days before making a claim, quite often it will appear again in one or two days.

Anyone having problems booking with topcashback. They said Accor does not link correctly if you book and you are not in the UK. Quidco works fine but less rebate. It could be me, but wondered if anyone else had problems.

That's annoying. At Mr. Rebates the rate recently dropped to 5%, after having almost always been 8% in recent months, but taking LCAH benefits doesn't invalidate the rebate. (Note that the rebate is only 2% for Fairmont, Raffles and Swissôtel, though.)

For Accor reservations i’m using Avios Shop since 2 months, since the cash back at MrRebates have dropped down ... i’m Afraid, because Never had a problem with them

Avios Shop pay currently 8 Avios x pound.

Mr Rebates claim denied

I stopped using Top Cashback and switched to Mr Rebates in late 2016 after experiencing a few problems with TCB. Firstly the frequency with which rebates didn't post automatically increased, then claims started being denied.

My experience with Mr Rebates has generally been much better. Rebates haven't always posted automatically, especially when bookings were made many months in advance, but retrospective claims were always successful. Now I've just had a claim refused, with the explanation that the click from Mr Rebates was not the final link before purchase.

I've been playing this game long enough to find that extremely unlikely. I have a separate browser profile solely for purchases through portals and always start a new session, free of cookies etc., and stick to the task at hand without 'side trips' to other sites. So either Accor is being naughty or their systems are not up to the job of tracking. We've seen enough of Accor's IT systems to know that the latter is perfectly possible, but either way I thought it worth posting this warning.

Funny you should say that.

My last claim with Top Cash Back did not track, and now it is not valid. Bit annoyed at "losing" 100€, but it was bonus cash so no "real" loss. Trying Quidco now.

Arrow 5% rebate on FRHI at Topcashback!

I always thought the only choice was 2.5% at Rakuten. When I searched at TCB for "Fairmont" nothing came up. But then yesterday "FRHI Hotels & Resorts" flashed, which also includes Raffles & Swissotel.

Topcashback.co.uk up to 15% back

Just booked The Bridge MGallery in Wroclaw and was surprised to see topcashback is offering 15% back on purchases through Accor for Sofitel/mgallery etc (lower rates on less premium brands). Seems like a very high rate so just thought I would let people know here! Cashback can be taken as cash (probably needs U.K. bank account) or can be transferred to BA Avios at £10 per 1000 avios.

If anyone wants to use it and isn’t a member, feel free to PM me for a referral code.

It is a good site, others available as well.

However about 1/3 of my bookings have not tracked this year. Last year 100%.

Bookings made through TopCashBack rarely track properly IME. So good luck with it.

have to say I have had great experience with TCB UK when it comes to Accor and Europcar bookings which are my major service providers. IHG , Choice , Marriott ,Hertz and Avis not so much.

Two issues with Accor cashback - doesn't apply to a lot of the newer brands in the stable eg Mantra Group properties and the Ts+Cs of TCB UK state that you can only withdraw Accor CB to a bank account which might mean a UK bank account. After many months of Accor CB accumulation I paid the GBP5 per year for premium TCB membership and since then I have had no problem withdrawing via PayPal. My mother's account which is the free basic account still only allows withdrawal to a UK bank account. I have no idea if it was the signing up for Premium that allowed my withdrawals via PayPal or not.

The only way to look at it - is it is a bonus - if I get any money back then I am happy. It does not make the decision to book for me.

2019 got a "bonus" of over £1k so its worth the effort.

Are you sure that you do not have browser/cookies configuration issues? I have had tons of TCB UK Accor referrals over the years and they have tracked pretty much flawlessly. Payment can be slow but it eventually comes through (I hope that I have not jinxed it by saying that !).
