Accor signs deal to acquire 85% of 21c Museum Hotels
Destinations currently include Bentonville, Cincinnati, Durham, Kansas City, Lexington, Louisville, Nashville and Oklahoma City. Additional properties in Chicago, Des Moines and Miami are currently in development.

Yup, seems like they are serious with increasing high-end coverage with a string of acquisitions of small boutique chains. Let us hope this will continue to build up solid coverage + add more midmarket and Ibis properties.

AccorHotels' acquisition of 85% of 21c Museum Hotels was completed Wednesday, according to an AccorHotels news release. 21c Museum Hotels will join AccorHotels’ MGallery collection of boutique hotels, marking the introduction of the MGallery brand into the North American market, in first half 2019," the news release states.

I stayed at Museum 21C Hotel in Bentonville, Arkansas. It's well located in the downtown area and is the best hotel in the town. Most hotels are on the outskirts and are the usual mid tier and less chain hotels.
