29 nights and 4329 points - had 12000 but used on some nice stays. Got an Ibis booked for the NFL at wembley- including a 9am check in (!) and Sofitel Heathrow for a trip to Athens
Been a bit of a slog this year and happy just to have retained Gold. Hardly any lounges in the UK so Gold is fine. I must say if I wasnt so far down the rabbit hole with Accor I would never have started. Colleagues with similar stays to me in IHG are "Platinum Spire" or whatever...seem to get a lot more points than me.

I qualified in May for platinum next year and currently have 24,992 Status points with 20 nights. About half of the status points were from three nights at a Sofitel, where I hosted an intimate wedding reception for family and close friends.

I am requalified Platinum in points since May. I will likely end up 2018 like 2017, i.e. a double qualification in points (I am currently at ca 26k) and a single qualification in nights (I am currently at 54).

I did my 14,000 points on a single 5-night stay, so a multiple qualification would be likely for me as well. Not that it actually gets you anything. But, I'd never qualify by nights... I just don't have that many vacation days!
I'll qualify again next year during my Banff and Lake Louise ski trips in February.

I need one more stay to retain status, I will be on the road for most of next summer, but can't check in to any Accor hotel personally before New Year. What is cheapest way of booking one night for status next year, where I wont have to actually be present?

Still 11,004 status points here. 1 stay Still didn't count a 2nd room. Plus 2 stays (3 nights In UK/Amsterdam) that have not counted (1 stay finished 6 days ago and another just today.) Looks like I will be busy on the phone to the call centre pity me. So I probably should be around 12,000 or more status points.
