Novotel Budapest Centrum

Itís fruit and nuts on some weird plate in case youíre wondering (it took me a while to work out in real life) plus two fingernail sized biscuits. It came with a very genuine handwritten card that I was most impressed with. Platinum.

ibis Singapore Novena

As Platinum and returning guest, i'm overwhelmed by their welcome amenities

# a potted flowers, very beutiful purple Orchid
# fruit plate,
# a bag of cookies,
# special bath amenities -- label says made in germany ~~ (this hotel uses dispenser in bathroom, so getting a set of bath amenities means a lot to me)
# complete teapot set for tea brewing..
# Free mini bar (loaded with soda and chocolate)
# Hand written welcome note from General Manager

never see such thing from all the sofitel / fairmont i stayed.

i will plan more stay in ibis from now on, shouldn't have discriminate ibis brand

only receive a hand written welcome note from GM, no welcome amenities.
i ask the lounge staff and they confirmed giving welcome amenity just not their practice.

Maybe Accor could remind them that this is not their choice to make.

The hotel should still get punished as the customer should not need to complain about it in the first place.
By the way I only recently heard about these freeloaders (influencers-from instagram) giving hotels a headache.
Read often luxury hotels often get 5-15 requests per day for free accomodation and all inclusive meals. This is not good for us as I am sure it wears the staff/management down to be generous even though we do deserve the perks we expect.

Novotel Wroclaw Centrum

Great hotel, I like it better than the Sofitel Wroclaw (which also gives good VIP treatment but is fairly run-down).
