Ahhh.... so that is what that hotel is going to be. I had walked by the construction site a couple of weeks ago, and the CG photo of the completed project only had "HOTEL" on the top part of the building. And nothing on the construction wall mentioned what the brand was going to be, either. Thanks.

Maybe it's already mentioned, but a new Accor hotel will come to Lille (France) in okt/nov/dec 2018. I saw the construction side today really quick and I think it will be ready in 2019. They are still building and it needs a lot of construction. Shopping, restaurants, offices and apartments.

Premier rooftop lillois, vue panoramique? Le Mama Shelter d?Euralille s?annonce très bien ? Vozer

There's a ibis being constructed near the Kuala Lumpur KLCC. It's on Jalan Yap Kwan Sent.

Supposed to be called ibis Kuala Lumpur.

I stayed not far for the last 3 months and did not see much construction going on though... Building is up and glass panels 70% done.. But that's it.

(They did start posting job ads mid December 2017)

Good news is that Accor is expanding in Tallinn but Ibis and Juhkentali. Meh. Despite the name, the hotel won't be too centrally located. It's about 20 minutes walk or 10 minutes by taxi to old town city center. At least there is Swissotel (albeit Hilton Tallinn is excellent).

With all the building of new hotels, it's really a shame that the Scandinavian countries have been pretty much left out.

I am not sure why its a big black hole in Accor's network. Is there not enough demand for even Novotel/Pullman/Sofitel or even Mercure brands in Scandinavian countries? It sort of puts me off going to these countries when there is only Ibis as an option.
