It seems a lot of us have started to dislike this hotel - but could you elaborate on "integrity issues" ?

I was given a smaller room than what I booked.

Understood - I will stick to Pullman St Pancras and Novotel Blackfriars for my visits in general.

Not bad choices, especially as the Paddington and Hyde Park Mercures can be just as expensive as the Pullman. However, the Pullman thread shows that consistent delivery of elite benefits isn't their strong suit either.

We're returning to the Novotel Blackfriars for a one-nighter in September, and also have a long-standing booking at the Mercure Paddington, but for future leisure visits we'll probably skip Accor and return to the Meliá White House, where we had a second pleasant stay last week.

Browsing different properties in London.
This hotel's own website has lower rates than what you can book on AH.com

Sample dates 2/1 - 8 Jan for Junior Suite
Hotels own site: GBP1,009. incl BF, prepaid
AH.com: GBP1,222, incl BF, prepaid

@AccorhotelsConcierge
I've been browsing through the Fairmont thread, and a number of users are reporting the Fairmont site has many more [cheaper] rates and packages available to book, compared to the Accor website.

It's pretty ridiculous that we also have to check the hotel's own website to see if it has a better rate available than the Accor website.

Do you think Accor would do a Better Rate Guarantee in this case? Book the Accor rate and then do a claim on the Mercure rate? haha

AccorHotels Rates

Hi gilberteau,

It's me again. As i told you, i informed a concerned team about your issue.
S, they came back to me telling that they have directly contacted the hotel and that the hotel will do all the necessary to
correct this mistake. Because the prices at the hotel's web site and at AccorHotels web site have to be similar.

Thanks again for having kept the community informed about such kind of anomaly.

Have a great week-end,
Amy

We had another one-night stay here this week. Platinum status brought us an upgrade from a "superior" room to a junior suite. ^ A drinks voucher was given automatically. ^

A welcome plate was brought to the room: half a strawberry, four blueberries, a couple of chocolates and a lot of what was presumably chocolate sauce drizzled over (and stuck to) the plate.

I was supposed to stay there next weekend, but as our British friends decided to put France suddenly on their quarantine list, I cancelled.
