I just did a test booking for 1 Sept and it looks like the hotel is open to taking reservations. Prices start at SGD$400+ taxes included. TBH quite steep for an entry level room however I do hope there will be cheaper rates in the coming months.

Interesting. I've just entered my stay dates (6 nights, starting 7 July) and it still says "Hotel Not Available". I'll keep a close eye on it, but SGD$400+ is a bit too steep for my budget haha!

First bookable date is the 1st Sept 2017.
(But website still states that the property will open in July 2017.)

Just checked for sept 1. Very steep price for a basic room. Too many other solid options to book at the posted rate I can only hope they will have soft launch rates posted closer to opening date.

The rates are in line with other deluxe hotels in the city. It's just that they haven't adjusted the weekend rates yet, most of its competitors will have a 30% or thereabouts discount for weekends. Expect to see the rates to be more dynamic when it is "live".

This morning, taking the escalators down to the Tanjong Pagar MRT, suddenly my phone acceded automatically the Sofitel Wifi network asking for my room # and name.

They must be working on the IT systems right now!

Prices have started falling. Price seems about right for a basic room.

There is however now a big jump to the next room category though - Club Deluxe. Is access to the Lounge for SGD235 for a non Plat member is worth it though? It doesn't look as though the room would be any different.

Note, these are the A+ member prices. Non A+ member price for the basic room is SGD328.00 and all other rates don't even appear if you aren't a LCAH member!

Big jump in rate due to one offering members Saver rate while other offering Platinum flexi rate. Give it awhile, rates will drop further. Especially once a sale comes. Hoping to use 1 Comp night and paid night at this property in Sep.

Ah yes. So blatantly obvious - wasn't focusing on that.
But good to see them doing some price management - yet "Opening in July 2017" is still up there.

It seems this hotel is quite expensive just before Christmas (22nd - 24th Dec). Do you know if there's normally a sale for Singapore at Christmas later in the year (October)? Or at the price of 380SGD per night, would you go for another option?

Hi all, for those who are interested to see the rooms. The Instagram account ( @accorhotels_apac ) has posted some videos of the hotel on their Instagram Story. Do note you must look at their Story and not their feed. Rooms look pretty decent as they gave a short tour of the Luxury room and some other parts of the hotel.
