I believe there is many Accor hotel in Sydney and I heard Australian hotel is quite strict on this. So even you made 2 separate booking, it is still considered as 1 stays. So the hotel may refuse the 2nd comp night.

I think the best is to stay in 1 hotel, 1 comp night and 1 pay then move to another hotel and use another comp night. Then you can utilize 2 comp night instead of 1.

If your wife is still against this idea then you can only use 1 comp night

nope you can’t.

I am also going to use my accor plus free nights for next trip to Sydney. I have 3 free nights (1 from previous year carried over), so my 3 separate bookings are A-B-A.
* A and B are different hotel.

Trying to book the Fairmont Singapore for second week of July. Of course with the LCAH system, the A+ member rates are not yet loaded. When I inquired I have now been told they will be loaded on the 2nd July. So if you want to stay early on in July, you will need to wait and depend on last minute booking when rates are higher to get your member discount.

Arrghhhh!

The Ts+Cs usually state that your Accor Plus card must be shown at check-in and I have been asked for it on some occasions, not on others.

I have not tried that. But I think you can. I presume you want to enjoy Gold status and 50% off at the same time?
