This is a joke. Price for a hotel I was considering on last week's private sale has now increased by 30% while still being on sale (MGallery Galata in Istanbul). Prices for other hotels I checked on this sale seem no better than what you can find on e.g. Booking.com.

EDIT: Just noticed that you can now use points for the Private Sale rate. That is at least a welcome change.

I think if the flexiable rate changed to a higher rate then yes it is a joke. If not then it probably means a better promotion was on before this private sales. Also note they all say up to 40%. I found the hotels are reasonably cheaply priced in Australia or Asia with this private sales but it is not the cheapest I have seen it.

Also some hotels did not load the special on yet. Checked 1 Banyan tree and it only has flexiable rate.

abit frustrating - the link to the participating hotels does not list the effective dates. instead you have to go thru to each indiviudal country in booking selection, to get the date ranges by country. Not helpful to list hotel without date range together.

I see they removed breakfast, which use to be a great benefit of the global sales, I am PLAT, but want to book multiple rooms (11pax) for a family 80th birthday celebration.

From my memory not all private sales included breakfast over the past 5-6 years that I can remember.

This is true, however the subject line of the email stated: name withheld, here’s your exclusive pre-sale access to our global Private Sale!

I just saw what I wanted to see 'global' and was disappointment when i went back to double check. All good booked it anyway.

No Breakfast and to May 12th. Accor losing out on my business in France this Summer. Sale no good for Germany for me either.

Nothing for Moscow in August. The private sales stops the 30th of June in Russia. Can I expect more later ?
Free breakfast would be nice.
