Sofitel Luang Prabang ? Is it the hotel de la paix ? Because this one is not labeled as Sofitel but is "managed by Accor". So I was wondering if it was another new hotel in LP ?

Pullman Cayo Coco
Accor PR:
Accor reinforces its presence in Cuba with the contract for the Pullman Cayo Coco
On the occasion of the French President’s visit to Cuba, Accor announces the signature of a management contract with Gran Caribe (Ministry of Tourism) for the Pullman Cayo Coco hotel in Cuba.
This 518 room hotel resort (including 40 suites), will offer upscale services and will notably be the first establishment on the island offering Wi-Fi in all its rooms. The Pullman Cayo Coco is located just 10 minutes from the international airport and boasts a vast sea front (over 500 meters) on the beautiful “Las Coloradas” beach. The Pullman Cayo Coco will open in November 2015.

I'm somehow feeling as if the "international airport" they mention isn't HAV though... (not that you are necessarily implying that).
EDIT: Just to add more content: The international airport they write about should be CCC (Cayo Coco Jardines del Rey International Airport)

Mercure Edinburgh Quay (new-build) opens next month. Not quite on the same level as Sofitel, but it's close to the city centre, banks and Edinburgh International Conference Centre.

Here's an article listing 12 new openings in Germany this year, including the abovementioned two new Arnulfpark locations:

Interestingly, they mention which ones are Accor's own (Hotelinvest I guess), and which are franchises.

I am currently reporting from Novotel Melaka. Just checked in about 2 hrs ago and I must comment the first impression of the front office staff was good. The front office manager came up to me and welcomed me to the hotel. He brought me to the premier lounge where I was too greeted warmly by the lounge staff. I booked the cheapest Superior King w/o breakfast and was upgraded to the Premier Suite. I was also informed by the FO Manager I can have complimentary lounge breakfast from 7 to 10.30am and there will be evening lounge happy hour from 6 to 8pm but currently there is no supply of alcohol because they have yet obtained the licence from the authorities. All in all, the hotel management seems to have high recognition of Plats. The screenshots of the lounge and the room will be uploaded soon.
