I wonder why the property seems can leave the chain with a very short notice.

I though there should be ample time given.

Also shouldn't all prepaid rate be refunded as there is no such property anymore?

I decided to call hotel, the staff told me they will be closing 4 months then turn into Hilton.

it seems that for some countries there are laws that prohibits to communicate this type of information to customers before the D day.

Just to clarify: As far as we know, it is only the Pullman Putrajaya that is rebranding, right? (I initially read the above as suggesting that the Pullman KLCC would be changing as well.)

As far as I know, the discussion of Pullman rebranding in KL has only ever concerned Pullman Putrajaya.

I have never heard any such rumours about Pullman KLCC or Pullman Bangsar.

I can only speak for myself.

We also mourn the quiet loss of the former Sofitel Taba Heights, which held on to its brand longer than most other branded hotels in the area, and is now known as the "Mosaique Beach Resort".

Interestingly, the last hotel of the cluster to remain branded is the Mövenpick Resort Taba.

The Royal Bay one. The other one, the Sofitel Agadir Thalassa sea & spa (literally next door) continues to be a Sofitel.
