recommended hotel at Roissy CDG ?

Hi there,

I am travelling soon from CDG and have to stay the night before to catch an early flight with my family.
Some hotels do no longer have a regular shuttle service like before and with staff turnover since the pandemic I've heard that some places are getting worse in terms of service.

Would recent travellers having stayed in CDG be kind enough to recommend some good locations nearby the CDG Val to reach terminal 2E from the hotel?

thanks a lot

I recommend you to stay around the Roissypole CDGVAL station Depending on how much you want to pay, I recommend you to choose between the Ibis Style or the Pullman. Very convenient : 10m from the Roissypole VAL / CDG1 RER station. With kids, the Ibis Style will be the one I believe and it's a very decent place, although a very busy one.

Second vote for Ibis Style, and be prepared for long check-in lines.

Finally tried the Sheraton (right in the middle of T2) to catch an early flight and I was not disappointed, it's truly INSIDE the Airport!
The extra layers in the windows make it actually a very quiet hotel, like a floating bubble.

Even though I planned to get to the check in 3.5h before the flight, I barely made it to the last call due to shortage of staff... (June 2022)

stayed at Novotel CDG Airport, just some steps outside the CDGVal station for terminal 3 as well as the train station for RER B
simple, clean and around 100 USD

Hi Goldorak
There are 2 of them with similar names, I guess you refer to this one: ibis Styles Paris Charles-de-Gaulle Airport ?

Thanks a lot for your advice, I'll go for this one then. I hesitated between this one and Novotel Paris Charles-de-Gaulle Airport. The Ibis Styles offers a 36 sq.m room to accomodate us and our little one, seems perfect.

Thanks

maybe next time

this time, we'll arrive in the evening by train, we'll catch something to eat and go to bed before an early flight the next day, and also we have to burn some Accor points...

Stayed there on 14 Nov. Easy to get to- pleasant people. Good burger and beer to drink (a bit expensive but hotel pricing 21.50 + 9). Would recommend based on convenience and price.
If you have a corporate rate or deal at Sheraton- my 1st choice.

Has anyone tried the Culinaire Bazaar restaurant at the Pullman CDG ?

I'm trying to figure out where to eat tomorrow evening.

Thanks
