Is this a separate promotion? The original one in the OP ended on 15Jun?

ETA: Nevermind, I see the promo is extended to 22Jun

I see the "Together Again" offer has been extended for bookings through to October 12 of this year. While the BOGO offer is really good, on many room types the Together Again rate is better.

For example, 1 Bedroom Lakeview Suite at Chateau Lake Louise for some random mid-week dates this August...

Daily Rate - $1,737/night
BOGO Rate (Stay Close package) - $867/night
Together Again Rate - $689/night -- That's a fantastic price

And the Together Again Rate comes with more inclusions and has no deposit requirement. But, you do have to prove Canadian residence.

There are some good "Stay Close' promo rates as I found the CLL in a Fairmont Room Mountain View King for CAD$204 per room per night in mid-Oct. and even with taxes comes to $244 per room per night which is excellent and about $150 less than the previous week.

This 'Stay Close' promo looks like it's been extended until end June, mid or end July for select hotels in Canada, U.S. and Mexico but the Rocky Mountain hotels all still showing with a promo end date of today, 22 June.

The "Together Again" offer has been expanded into two varieties.

If you're going to be staying 5 or 10 nights, you can get pretty good value with this:

https://www.chateau-lake-louise.com/...th-night-free/

It's essentially the same rates as before (ranging from 33% to 65% off of the Daily Rate, depending on the date and room category), with the same terms and inclusions, but every 5th nights free. So, up to 20% off an already good rate.

For those not wanting to stay at least 5 nights, but wanting to explore other Canadian Western Mountain properties, you might like this:

https://www.chateau-lake-louise.com/...assport-offer/

Again, it is the same rates as the other "Together Again" offer rates, but with an additional discount ranging from 7% to 15%, depending on how many of the 4 properties you stay at.

You need to contact the hotel by phone or e-mail after making your booking, for them to apply the additional discount manually after verifying the stays at the other properties.

It might be a bit complicated, but I think it's a rather creative way to encourage visits to these related properties.

The BOGO offer at these properties has ended. I thought the upgrade needed to be applied during the booking process, so I don't see how you could still use an upgrade certificate without rebooking at current rates.

Canceled my two Canadian reservations I made under the BOGO program, Canada extended the ban (14 day quarantine) for USA until September.

Wanted to spend dollars there for a week, before I took other international trips. I live in a USA location that has nearly no reported infections, no one knows anyone who has been infected by it, much less died from it. Fear porn, public health theater. Enjoy your destroyed economy my northern friends and think about what happens if no effective vaccine is ever found...
Where did you see the ban extension to September (couldn't find anything with Google)?

Currently, it's in place to Aug 31, but every month they have been extending it by another month, and may continue to be extended. It doesn't apply to any particular country. The 14-day quarantine on arrival is mandatory for everyone entering the country, from anywhere in the world, including Canadian citizens, with exceptions for certain essential service people.

https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/tra...july-1.5632625

The ban on non-essential travel goes to the end of July (for now), but the quarantine-on-arrival continues beyond the travel ban.

I’ve optimistically booked a couple of nights for June 2021 at each of CLL, BSH and JPL , in the hope that I’m able to travel to Canada from Australia by then. This trip has been postponed from the original for August 2020.

I’m appreciative of the tips that are being provided and will continue to monitor the rates for any better offers that may come along.

They reintroduced the BOGO mid-October. But, it's not nearly as good. Lots more blackout dates this time, and also room blackouts. For example, at Lake Louise, all rooms and suites with lake views are excluded from the BOGO. Similar sneaky restrictions at other properties.
