It's not as if Melbourne has any shortage of upmarket hotels, but Australia's style capital is set to grow its luxury accommodation 'look book' with the arrival of Sofitel's SO/Melbourne in 2023.
Located on the corner of William and Franklin Streets, overlooking the city's historic Flagstaff Gardens on one side and with the Queen Victoria Markets tucked away on the other side, the SO/Melbourne will mark the Australian debut of the design-led brand....

Same with Hamburg - given that 25hours might join ALL one day (perhaps even as early as 2023!), Accor has quite some presence there. I keep my eyes peeled for news on Accor filling in the gaps in their coverage...

Suggestion for improvement:
Categorizing hotel openings by year-specific threads does not aggregate information in a concise way but creates a convoluted mess.
From practice, we know that even hotel openings announced for as little as a year in advance often end up falling into another year. As for 2023 openings announced today, you can expect like 80+ percent not to open in 2023. Some will open in '24, '25, '26, others will not open at all as an Accor property, etc.
The system used by the other hotel subforums such as the Hyatt forum or the IHG forum is much superior.
Have one thread for openings, closings, etc. Use the wiki function. Aggregate that information properly. Please have a look at the past hotel opening threads in the Accor forum to see for yourself what a mess they are.
It is not such that there are so many openings and closing that they cannot fit into a single thread. And even if there were, it would be much more sensible to categorize by something such as brand or category which is more-or-less constant than by year which is in flux.

Any FT member in good standing can create a wiki. The way new hotels are presented here has worked so far for regular ALL FT members. We also have a search function.

Then I must not be in good standing.
And you conclude that from what?
If you look at other hotel subforums on FT, they have lists of openings, closings, and reflags which I'd consider largely complete (cf. for example the Hyatt, Hilton, and IHG subforums). In difference to that, I get the impression the coverage of openings/closings/reflags of Accor properties in the relevant threads on the ALL subforum is spotty.
It stands to reason it is related to the poor organisation of these threads. One thread with a wiki at the start would be easier to maintain and more rewarding for contributors. As is, any contribution I might have towards Accor hotel openings is soon to be buried in a bunch of somewhat obscure threads.

Tribe, Manchester (UK) airport
Plans for a new 412-bedroom hotel near Manchester Airport have been approved by the city council.
The nine-storey hotel on Chicago Avenue will be run by Tribe under the umbrella of Accor, whose other brands include Mercure, Sofitel and Novotel.
A restaurant is also planned within the 134,000 sq ft building, though it remains unclear who will occupy it, while 22 of the rooms will be wheelchair accessible.....
