I haven't seen anything yet, but it's typically 20% off for Black Friday. I would guess we'll see something come out this week from LE. I'm still mourning the loss of the 25% discount everyday at Costco.

LifeExperience is doing 22% off with the code CYBERSALE (valid through November 29, 2021, 11:59 PM PT.), which sounds better than the Fairmont GC offer (for 3000 in value, buy 2500 worth of Fairmont GC or 2340 worth of life experience certificates), with the caveat that one can only redeem 1000 worth of life experience certificates per stay while an unlimited amount of Gift Card can be redeemed.

Officially, there is a limit of $1,000 LE certificates per stay, however, I find that you can sometimes push that limit, by visiting the front desk on different days throughout your stay, and dealing with different agents, and applying an additional batch. Hotels started to catch on and enforce that limit more and more in the later years. But, perhaps since Costco stopped selling them at 25% off, the volume of use has died down (I haven't used any in a long time), and with it, the attention by hotels to monitor the limits.

For me the bigger issue is that LE can only be used in Canada whereas the gift cards can be used in any Fairmont in the world, more so that the 1k limit

All done for another Black Friday! They've certainly ironed out all the bugs. I managed to purchase 4 shopping carts full, on 4 different credit cards. I had all gift cards delivered by e-mail within 2 minutes of completing each purchase. Whole process took less than 20 minutes.

Well in this instance unfortunately my experience is the complete opposite - absolutely nothing works on my end. I tried different currencies of gift cards, different amounts, I changed the country of VPN connection, I changed the billing address, different credit cards... same error message every time. It is the most bug-infested sale I have ever seen. In the past it (almost) always worked on the first try for me.

Did you see the bonus card on your purchase before buying? You should have seen the bonus card automatically appear in your shopping cart before purchase.
