Platinum Availability Guarantee - Not Working???
I'm trying to book a room in Basel from 1/12-4/12. Normally, any fully booked hotels would show as available with something like "Platinum Guarantee" in the room type.
However, the Pullman, Novotel and Swissotel are all showing as unavailable.
I've switched browsers, cleared cookies etc...
Could anybody else confirm this issue?
Thanks

especially the hotels near to exhibition districts, often don’t guarantee some dates more than the ones at this link.

You should contact the hotel.
You may also look at those 2 threads on the same subject :

Thanks for the above poniters.
Could a Platinum do me a favour? Check the following cities for availability, and see if there are any hotels showing as unavailable :-
Basel 2019/12/01 - 2019/12/04
London 2019/12/03 - 2019/12/04
Both these searches show a number of hotels as unavailable. I've never had this issue before.
Ironically, I'm trying to get some extra nights in so I can retain Platinum. I use the room guarantee a lot as there are a couple of cities I work regularly that only have a small number of hotels, and get booked out months in advance! I wonder if Accor can switch off this benefit at account level?
Thanks

Hi, I have done a very quick search for London, and the only hotel unavailable to me ( on the list they gave ) was the Ibis that is not open, as it is being built.
The Basel search gave the Aparthotel Adagio Basel City as unavailable.
Both results gave a lot of hotels that I could book if I chose.
Not sure what is going on with you. Sorry, no picys as on mobile, and my IT skills not that good

hotel_user - your results are what I'm expecting
Out of interest, have you guys qualified for Platinum next year as yet? I'm wondering if it's got something to do with the new Accor programme? Probably more likely to be an IT issue though

Thanks both... nkob - your second search matches what I'm seeing. So, at least it's not just me!

hello DYKMIA
yes i am plat this year and 16819 statuspoints so plat next year too i presume
For next year i stay accor for fairmont marakkech and Hilton brand hotels for outside marokko.
So far the costumercare experience from hilton is a lot better
Chat with hotels and Hilton central is possible and solves things quick .
contact with fairmont maraks and pulman eindhoven is good but accor central is different
greetings cornelis
