I don’t think I have seen this posted before. This concerns UK and I know this thread is about France, but I didn’t want to start a new thread. Maybe our Moderators will adjust the thread title ?
UK residents can also earn LCAH points by eating at UK restaurants without staying at the hotel. The condition is to have a Visa card registered in your LCAH profile and to pay the restaurant/bar with this Visa card. Conversion rate is 1€ = 1 pt. As this is a UK-only thing, one can wonder why they have not set up a conversion rate with a clear amount in GBP instead of €.
I learned that from a leaflet that was available at Bokan restaurant in Novotel Canary Wharf. The leaflet says that t is at participating restaurants and bars (which ones ?) and refer for the T&C to www.restaurants.accorhotels.com and this site doesn’t work

It also was in a mailing sent by LCAH (presumably only if your registered address with LCAH is in the UK?).
You need to remove the "www" for the proper link.
This one should work: https://restaurants.accorhotels.com/...-deal.en.shtml

Now also featured in Warsaw and Budapest - it seems Accor is rolling this out at directly-operated / owned properties first. The process seems cumbersome for both the staff and clients (when was the last time you had to write down the full number of your LCAH card?), but in the end, it works - I got my points both at the Mercure and the Sofitel (in Warsaw - Sofitel's restaurant highly recommended!)
It amazes me that Accor is actually a company focused on complex operations with numerous human factors and operations, and they did this roll-out in such a clumsy fashion - the website is unclear as to which properties participate, staff has received only rudimentary training and has to figure out the things themselves, personnel outside of restaurant was not even informed (I asked the FB profile operator for a copy of the leaflet to check for participating restaurants and they were clueless) and they even managed to put the wrong name for one of the five restaurants in it - the one that is the closest to Accor's office!
Earnings are modest but I must say this is such a welcome development, being promised to me by Accor's execs for years now. I do hope they will manage to iron out the kinks and roll this out worldwide en masse.

The website (only in French) seems to indicate that the offer is now available at selected hotels in France, Poland, Hungary and the UAE. https://secure.accorhotels.com/leclu...index.fr.shtml

I tried this for the first time when visiting Warsaw recently. I had dinner at Sofitel but stayed elsewhere. Staff wasn't sure how it works at first but the points were posted immediately after I had paid. Well done!

Successfully earned point for dining (new ALL app)
Good news!!!! I got my first dining point posted!!! I have a friend also successfully earned dining point at Novotel Cairns oasis resort.
No need to key in venue code, and this restaurant is not in the published list.
All I did was linked my visa card in app, pay by swipping that card physically at restaurant and voila - - -
Thanks to Member service agent from accorplus Malaysia for notifying me about this benefit, and she told me that currently only Visa card accepted for point earning in Asia.

Dear members,
The list of participating bars and restaurants is now updated on the Accor All app, you should now be able to see a list including 6 pages of participating venues. You may need to update the app to see it. Hope you'll enjoy our offer for an upcoming lunch or dinner!
Best regards
Amy
