I just received my Accor Plus card and the flyer that came with it say that Platinum members are entitled to free breakfast! No mention of Asia Pacific only or exclusions. Maybe this is the reason the drop down list on the website is not working. Let's hope so.

If this benefit is rolled out worldwide, it would be very welcome, indeed.

We spent a few days in Fairmont Makati in Manila over the holidays. The buffet restaurant Spectrum there gets very busy in the mornings to the point where there sometimes is a long queue just to get in.
Accor Plat status entitled us to have complimentary breakfast at the adjacent Raffles Mirèio a la carte restaurant. What a pleasant experience; it was quiet and unrushed with great service. They have a good selection of different sweet and savoury main courses to choose from as well as a small buffet with fruits, bakery items, cheese etc. I highly recommend to any Plat members staying there.

Platinum Free breakfast Asia-Pacific
I am Accorplus Platinum in Australia. Since becoming platinum I notice most rates are “Accor Plus - Complimentary Breakfast” which is great. But there are some hotels that participate in the free platinum breakfast where there is a rate such as a “Members App Offer - 20% off” that is cheaper than the complimentary breakfast rate and doesn’t include breakfast.
The benefits of platinum are simply listed as complimentary breakfast at participating hotels, no mention of needing to book a more expensive rate. If I book the cheaper rate that doesn’t list complimentary breakfast will I get/am I entitled to a free breakfast as a platinum?
thanks

I've always got breakfast (except at the occassional place that doesn;t have a restaurant of its own) regardless of the rate I paid.

I'm quite curious why this benefit only applies to Asia Pacific. Is it because there are more lounges in that region, or that labour and/or food is somewhat cheaper? I for one really appreciate breakfast as a benefit; I only wish it weren't a weekends-only benefit for Diamond members. If it were every day, maybe Diamond would be a little more worthwhile.

Free breakfast - Executive lounge
I’m trying to do some booking in Asia logged on my “Platinum account” - example : So Bkk. When I look on the different rooms, I can book for the same room, a room with breakfast or a room without breakfast.
As there is an executive lounge which we can have an access with our Platinum status, what will be the difference between a booking with breakfast or without breakfast, except the price.

I've recently earned Platinum status with Accor and still learning the nuances of Accor..
Can any elites here share experience if ultra Luxury properties such as Raffles/Banyan Tree offer comp breakfast for Plat/Diamond elites in APac?
I'm toying around with the "comp breakfast" page and notice properties such as Raffles Singapore and Bayan Tree in Bali are conveniently omitted from the participating list..
https://all.accor.com/loyalty-progra...index.en.shtml
It's just surprising that Accor buys all these ultra luxury properties, but then they don't participate in the elite program. Then what is the point publicizing these luxury brands under the ALL portfolio?

As a rule, even luxury hotels from Accor should provide breakfast in APAC unless they actively took a role in excluding themselves. That said, some hotels such as a handful of Banyan Trees do not participate in the Accor program at all so we cannot earn points, let alone have breakfast. It essentially makes them independent hotels so for me it means I am no more, no less likely to book there than I would at Four Seasons for example.
