Considering a visit in August (yes I know it's very hot) to Dubai with gf. Looking to stay at one of the Sofitels, which one do you recommend for R&R?

We are not married, should we get like some fake rings and put them on, or should we just skip Dubai? Just wondering if they'll ask for documentation or something which we don't have and definitely don't want to be thrown in an UAE jail.

Been to Dubai many times, but only alone

The Sofitel Abu Dhabi is a great hotel, especially if you go for the club floor. In addition, the price is very reasonable (look it up). In Dubai, the Pullman City Centre is also great value for the club floor. I hear that some hotels in Dubai might give you a problem if you are both of different ethnicities :/ otherwise, you should be ok.
