Hate to be so cynical, but meh; I was personally rooting for a St Regis but glad this grand old lady snagged a world-class operator. Looking forward to this landmark returning in 2018.

I have t heard from my contact since I last emailed him
When I return home next week I will follow up again
My guess is they are way behind as nothing appears on the Fairmont site showing an opening date

(Only 3 years later than planned :(.)

Many stays and fond memories from when it was a Hyatt. Even though I’m not an Acor or Fairmont patron, might stay one time. Can (points or miles from) a Fairmont stay be credited to any other (external) programs? Thank you.
