Do they want me to book a room or not, getting all kinds of errors when I try to book (happened last week as well). On the webpage I get stuck at this screen where my details never load...if I confirm, I get the very professional message! Cleared cookies, Chrome, Firefox, Edge all nada

I could not replicate the above.
The best I could do is shown below.
Sometimes the "public" rate does not include taxes etc - that are then added on booking payment, where as the member rate does.
It is a sharp practice to exclude taxes on a public rate when people are comparing hotels and rates.

22nd to 25th july : public rate : 264€, member rate : 251€
27th to 30th july : public rate : 228€, member rate : 231€

Plus ça change, alors.
But I am beginning to think that even Accor is better than Hilton at the moment. Could they not have used their COVID time to really try and get some of these issues sorted out?

can you send a mobile screenshot, can you send a PC screenshot, can you send a screenshot with the hotel and dates, all different emails replies over three days. Not like they could have asked for everything all at once.
If it wasn't Montebello I would have booked somewhere else by now, given them a couple more days.

3 days since the last email asking for screenshots for the third time. I found other accommodations in the area.
I guess deleting my account was just a warm-up for Accor IT in 2020. I had already started steering my spend to other hotel groups but this is the last drop in the bucket. It shouldn't take over a week to book a room. It even fails when I am logged out and I fill in the details manually with different credit card.
Too complicated to deal with this company, they finally got me.
EDIT: I guess email support gave up as well because no more follow-up, workaround, suggestions 4 days later.

Same here, I have directed all future spend away from Accor since I cannot book anything (same problem as above on multiple PCs and configs). I know I could probably call in and get it fixed but why would I?

Cancelling a points booking
Does anyone have any experience of cancelling an Accor booking made with points? I had a one night stay, it cost 2,000 points plus around £11 GBP. it said cancellable up to 3 days before and I've cancelled it five days before. Oddly though, the webpage when i cancelled stated "points haven't been returned to your account" and no mention of the £11 GBP. Does anyone know if this is just due to Accor's dodgy, terrible I. T. and i will get the points and cash back automatically? Thanks
