New Accor statement
I just received a statement from Le Club. Have any of you received it?
Looks nice with a nice layout. |
Yes, I like it but am a bit confused about how long my Platinum status would last! Classic Accor - the expiry of my Platinum status shown on the newsletter does not agree with what it says on my account on the website. Website says 31/10/2016 and the newsletter says 14/02/2017. :confused:

05/02/2017 however would be the date my points expire if I have no activity within twelve months. 5th February was the checkout date of my most recent stay. As you say classic Accor. The statement however looks good. |
I also received this statement.
To be honest I do not really understand all the figures but status (except for the date as well) is ok and balance of points available as well... I guess it is because it is the first one and datas taken in the calculation are slightly different than Dec15-feb16 as stated. |

I wonder what date range to hotel points draw from? In my case it's over 130,000 points.

I just received the statement as well.
The balance and validity of the points are correct. All other numbers and dates are incorrect. For example "Points earned since December: +17,117" Unfortunately not true. "Number of points required to keep Platinum status: 0" "Number of nights’ stay required to keep Platinum status: 0" Unfortunately not true. |
Mine's the same as MatkaMies' - all points after December and 0 to keep platinum status. Wish it was true.

The new monthly statement layout looks like a significant improvement in terms of the information, provided it is going to be accurate
The points figures and dates contained on mine appear to be generally correct although there appears to be a cut off before 29th February as it isn't showing points earned or redemptions made by me in the second half of last month. The reference to "Other operations" in my case seems to match account regularisation transactions as it is a minus figure in the same way as "Points used". The provision of points required to retain status information is helpful as long as it is going to be accurate. The renewal details in my email do seem to be correct although my status expiry date is wrong. |

Unfortunately, as others have reported above, we cannot rely on the figures provided. Mine are also hopelessly wrong (40,xxx points since December, zero points/nights required to retain Platinum). |
New Accor statement
Hi Amy, (Accorconcierge), here you have within 3 hours of launch, 7 comments on the statement. Hope this helps the IT Departement to quickly get to the bottom of the issues and get it right.

The balance and status on my statements are correct but the others are not. Ie: Points used - participating hotels -58,000 within 3 months??? :D

As per usual the idea was nice but the execution is a disaster.

The statement is a great idea. VERY poorly done.
It states that my points expire on 11/29/16, and the balance it shows is accurate to 11/29/15. The problem is that the wording states that this statement is for activity through February, and I have had plenty of points post in December and January. :td: |
That was very silly. I can understand that if it's a new system, and historical data needs to be fed in, but it could've been done as an adjustment before the start of the period (or simply start the statement from Jan - Mar). I'm guessing that is what threw out the status calculations as well. And the expiry date for status is simply reading the wrong data. Does anybody review a live sample before the mass-send button is hit?
